Jingyu Bai, BSc MSc Hons MATCM

Hello, My name is Jingyu Bai, the practitioner of the clinic. I have been practicing acupuncture and herbal medicine for more than 10 years in the UK. Beside running the acupucnture clinic in Newark, I was invited to teach at the University of Lincoln since 2009 and enjoys my day post as a lecturer for Acupressure and clinical supervisor at the university acupuncture clinics.

I am a registered member of the Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine (ATCM), which stands in a unique position in the United Kingdom’s healthcare system, the ATCM is actively engaged in academics, research, and the practical application of acupuncture.   Before coming to the UK,  I was trained in China for 8 years in Traditional Chinese Medicine Universities and received my B.Sc. and M.Sc. for Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine. The training included 40% conventional medicine, 60% of Traditional Chinese Medicine( include acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine), and an 18-month internship in local hospital which combines conventional medicine and Traditional Chinese medicine. Therefore I have a good knowledge on conventional medicine with the expertise on acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine.

Acadamic Background:

09/1999-07/2002  Study acupuncture and participate in research in Fujian TCM University and received the Master degree;

09/1993- 07/1998 Study acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine in Liaoning TCM University and awarded Bachelor Degree.

09/2008 up to 07/2012:  Lecturer and clinic supervisor in Acupuncture Program,  School of Health and Social Care, University of Lincoln

Practices:

04/2012-present: Newark acupuncture centre at 4A Northgate, Newar-on-trent.

08/2009-8/2010: Part-time In Spring Acupuncture clinic, First floor of Saks Hair and Beauty, Newark

08/2004-07/2009: Full-time practitioner of acupuncture and chinese herbal remedy, Spring acupuncture and chinese herbs, 40 Stodman Street, Newark

    I was interested to find out some further information. Do you have any experience of treating tinnitus symtoms? If you could email me that would be great.

    Hi, I did treat tinnitus with acupuncture with success. Even though it will be unlikely cured, but the symtoms will be controled to some extend with the treatment. Hope you find the information helpful. With a consultation, more information will be given by understanding your conditions.
